Our committees

Our squash association is very happy with its active members. After all, they ensure that the association remains lively and dynamic. As a member you will have a lot to do with a number of these committees. These are, for example, the Activity Committee, Tournament Committee and Technical Committee. Other committees work more in the background, such as the Advisory Committee and the Website Committee. Are you interested in participating in a committee? Feel free to address one of the committee members or the board!

Activity Committee

Squash is important in life, but life isn’t just about squash. This is what the Activity Committee (Accie) is all about. The accie members are eager to provide you with the best activities every year. Keep an eye on the Whatsapp group every month to keep up to date and come and join in the fun. Do you have any questions for the Accie or do you want to be part of this high-profile team? Feel free to speak to Anya, Evelien, Gijs or Jelena on the courts or during an activity!

Technical Committee

The technical committee is here for all squash-related technical activities. These sporty enthusiasts organize the Monday training sessions and the competition. They also organize the One Night Tournaments (ONTs) and other forms of squash play. Do you want to join the technical committee or do you have a fantastic idea for a tournament, training session, or other squash-related activity? Then send an email to tc@deboosters.nl. Committee members are Aldwin, Chris, Willeke and Yoeri!

Tournament Committee

Every year we organize a number of tournaments from the association, such as the Open Boosters Tournament and the One Night Tournaments. This committee arranges the organization of those tournaments and ensures that it runs smoothly on the day itself! Do you already see yourself participating in this? Please contact us via email sport@deboosters.nl. Committee members are Dijana, Jason, Mitchell, Roel and Simon.

Website committee (the worst committee)

To remain accessible and keep our club online, the Website Committee (Webcie) is constantly busy keeping the website up to date. You may not notice much from the Webcie in your daily squash life, but they are always open to feedback and great tips to make the website even more appealing. So feel free to approach Mitchell or Fouad on the court or during activities, or send an email to website@deboosters.nl. Do you have experience with WordPress or the affinity and eagerness to learn? Let us know!
